Driving from London
Take the M3 out of London/turn off the M25 onto the M3 and continue down the M3 until you reach the fork with the A303. Turn onto the A303 and continue until Countess Roundabout, the main turning point into Amesbury, following the signs to Amesbury Town Centre. Continue straight over the traffic lights towards the centre of Amesbury. You will see a car park on your right hand side but continue straight on until you reach a double mini roundabout. Turn right there into Salisbury Street (one way). Some 200 yards further on at the T-junction, turn left in the direction of West Amesbury, Stonehenge and the Woodfords.
Continue along this road, crossing a bridge over the River Avon followed by a sharp right-hand bend, and continue up the hill until you come to a turning to the left, indicated Heale Gardens and West Amesbury.
Turn left there.
Continue on this road, through West Amesbury, for approximately one mile until you come to a sign, situated on the right hand bend, indicating Wilsford-cum-Lake. Proceed for approximately a quarter of a mile until you see a bus stop on your left together with a notice board marked St. Michaels Church. Turn left down this entrance for approximately 50 yards until you see three wooden gates (on the left, in front of you and to your right). The large timber gate on the right is the entrance to Wilsford Manor. Press the button labelled “Wilsford Manor” on the right of the gate and you will be admitted.
